Research
Field notes with receipts.
"Research" here covers field notes, architecture investigations, benchmarks with methodology, and privacy or security notes. Every entry states its evidence basis, and experiments are clearly distinguished from supported product behavior.
GPT-Live: full duplex is the feature, decoupled reasoning is the architecture
What OpenAI actually disclosed about its GPT-Live voice system, what independent measurement shows, where the design has prior art, and what a self-hosted equivalent would require — with unverified details labeled.
Publishing repository docs with pinned provenance
The architecture behind this site's documentation pipeline: a controlled catalog, per-repository manifests, commit-SHA pinning, and containment validation that refuses to publish what it cannot verify.
A warmup-aware health contract for local model servers
Why liveness and readiness must diverge while a model warms, and the exact endpoint semantics the ForgeGuard inference servers ship to keep orchestrators honest during startup.
Evidence standards
How entries are labeled.
- Field note
- Documents behavior that ships in released software, with links to the code, releases, or tests that back each claim.
- Experiment
- Reports an investigation whose results are not product behavior. Methodology, hardware, and configuration are stated so results can be reproduced — or refuted.
- Evidence field
- Every entry's front matter names its evidence basis. An entry that cannot state one does not get published.
