Version labels
What the labels mean.
- Stable
- The latest tagged release. This is the version to deploy; its documentation matches the release artifacts exactly.
- Previous
- The prior stable release, kept while operationally useful for deployments that have not upgraded yet.
- Development
- The repository's default branch. Every development page carries a persistent warning: documented behavior may not exist in any release.
Every published page shows its source repository, ref, and commit SHA, with an "Edit on GitHub" link to the exact source. If a page and its repository disagree, the commit stamp tells you which snapshot you are reading.
